FRIENDLY MATCH AT ST.ANDREWS

Match against Fife at St Andrews on 25th March.

Our annual friendly match against Fife was played over the Jubilee course in perfect golfing conditions. No wind and the sun managed to come through for a while. All the girls enjoyed the day although not winning any of the games. The soup and sandwiches in the beautiful clubhouse afterwards was very much appreciated.

Results are:- Nicola Robertson & Steph Corolla lost to Fiona Hastie & Susan Jackson 6 and 5
Jillian Milne & Gwen Lambie lost to Lorna Bennett & Jocelyn Mackie 6 and 4
Jane Yellowlees and Emily Aird lost to Elaine Moffat and Diane Watson 4 and 3
Carol Muir and Alison Houston lost to Lorna McKinlay and Karin Sharp 5 and 3

Juniors
We could only field two juniors, Rheanna Thom and Kathryn Robertson who played one of the Fife pairs for the first 9 holes and the other two for the inward 9.

Many thanks to Carol Muir and Alison Houston who kindly made up the seniors team as  Laura Walker and Eilidh Watson were attending an SLGA event at Ellie.

Our next friendly inter-county match is at Gleneagles on 14th April against Stirling and Clackmannan.

A reminder that our first County Meeting is at Alyth on 16th April and Ella Benzies is anxiously awaiting your entries.
