WELL DONE AILIE AND ERIN
Dunkeld junior member Ailie Burnett and Pitlochry junior member Erin Millar certainly did Perth and Kinross County Juniors proud this weekend at Alyth in the County Championship weekend. Ailie who qualified 7th and Erin who qualified 5th both made it to the final of the Perth and Kinross Gibb Trophy (Handicap Championship) final. Making it an all junior final!
Ailie and Erin had a fabulous match with excellent golf being played by both girls. The winner was Ailie Burnett with a 2&1 victory, however Erin showed great spirit by fighting back from 6 down.
An fantastic final, one of which makes me very proud of our junior section.
