Congratulations to County squad member Eve Muirhead but for fantastic success in her other sport - curling. Eve has just competed in the Women's Junior World Championships being held in Eveleth, Minnesota where the Scottish team of Skip Sarah Reid, Third Eve Muirhead, Second Barbara McFarlane, Lead Sarah MacIntyre and Alternate Alison Black defeated Canada in the finals of the competition (7- 6 in an extra end). The team is coached by Sheila Swan. Congratulations from Perth & Kinross County Association to the whole team!
