There was a fantastic entry for the Girls Championship at Alyth on Sunday 3rd June. Twelve girls competed for the Scratch and Handicap Trophies over 18 holes, 20 played 9 holes and 4 little ones played 6 holes on the Pee-wee course.
The results are as follows:
Championship - Scratch:
1st - Ailie Burnett, Dunkeld, 90
2nd - Lauren Marchbank, Auchterarder, 92
3rd - Megan Aird, Strathmore, 95
Handicap:
1st - Erin Miller, Pitlochry, (33) net 60
2nd - Laura Aitken, Killin, (36) net 70
3rd - Jennifer Smith, Kinross, (31) net 71
The CSS was 70
9-Hole:
1st - Kathryn Robertson, Auchterarder, gross 50
2nd - Siobhan Teague, Auchterarder, gross 55
3rd - Erica Burnett, Dunkeld, gross 58
Pee-wee:
1st - Rosanagh Davidson, Dunkeld, 39
2nd - Faye Matheson, Kinross
3rd - Erin Patillo, Dunkeld
4th - Jamie-Lee Wardrope, Milnathort.
Well done to all the girls they had great fun, Carol and I were very proud of them!
